Our Wonderful World – A New Club

A couple of weeks ago we joined a local Sportsman Club: Clinton County Farmers and Sportsman Club. Above are four pictures of the same pond, same day, same view practically…but quite a difference in perspective.

Simply put, in two of the pictures we focused on the close object, the purple flowers. In the other two pictures, we focused on the background of trees and shoreline across the pond. Each picture is beautiful. Each one has its good points and bad points. Each person reading this and looking at the pictures has one they like better than the others for various reasons.

However, one view is really no better than the other. A closer focus or a more distant focus, it really doesn’t matter. Yet I would argue that I like one more than the others and could give you a list of reasons why. Monica, who actually took these photos, would say that she likes a different one, and she too, would give reasons why she chooses the photo she does.

I don’t want to get too serious, it’s not that type of blog, however, there seems to be a lot we could learn from four pictures of a small pond in Clinton County, Ohio. That being said, for those that really need to know, the obvious best photo above, in my opinion is, simply put, the one that I like best. Let me know which one is yours.
